Spending over 30 years in the hospitality industry, Martin’s career has spanned from running his iconic bar Hapu (listed in the New York Times as one of the best places to visit when in Prague), to owning and personally managing his gourmet bistro in the very heart of the Czech capital, to now leaving the noise of the city behind for the tranquility of the mountains and his lifelong passion for high mountain skiing.
The essence of Pension Dorfplatz is hospitality at its finest. Martin has brought his cuisine and culinary integrity to make your stay with us truly outstanding. We are one of the smaller, more intimate hotels in the area, which affords us the luxury to attend to finer details in our environment and our cuisine.
Michaela, Martin’s wife, is a professional artist and an avid nature lover, whose ongoing creativity adds to our space the feeling of quiet beauty and compliments our outer surroundings. We look forward to the opportunity to share this with you.
